This module focuses on the basic linguistic and communicative structures of the German language. By developing the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as teaching basic grammar and vocabulary, it aims at helping students achieve communicative competence in simple everyday situations and personal interaction.

This module is meant strictly only for students without prior knowledge of German acquired formally or informally.
