Staff Profile
I joined the Centre for Language Studies in September 2006. I have received my B.A. in Japanese Language and Culture (teacher-training programme in Japanese language education), and M.A. in Education from the University of Tsukuba, Japan. Prior to coming to Singapore, I have taught Japanese language at University of South Australia. I have also worked as an examiner for the Year 12 matriculation in South Australia: the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) at the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia (SSABSA). My current research interests are Japanese language pedagogy with a focus on intercultural education, classroom discourse analysis, and teacher education.
