Staff Profile
I joined the Department of Japanese Studies at NUS in December, 2000 and am currently an Instructor at the Centre for Language Studies. I received an MA in area studies at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, and an MA and a PhD in Linguistics at the State University of New York at Buffalo. I taught introductory Japanese Studies modules before moving to the current position in May 2006. My current research interests are Functional Linguistics and its application to Foreign Language Education.
