This module is a continuation of Chinese 3. Based on the 620 Chinese characters they have already learned from Chinese 1 to 3, students will be taught another 130 new characters and 300 phrases at this stage. New words, phrases and idioms will be strengthening for the usage of the language. Short stories and articles will be used in teaching. Students will also be trained in listening to broadcast materials, speech skills as well as short essay writing.
