Grammar and morphology will be looked into in more details; to maximize students’ communicative ability, explanation of grammar points, vocabulary, and linguistic forms of the language will be terse and to the point, through examples and inductive learning. Most of the learning will be done collaboratively –in pairs, groups, or the class a whole. A wide range of topics will be explored, such as getting to know the Arab World, Arabic Calligraphy, and writing a letter in Arabic. The textbook is reading based; conversational activities will incorporated from Sakhr Website. Also, additional communicative activities/materials will be designed to complement and enhance the content of the textbook. To further augment the students’ active vocabulary, short stories will be given, read independently, and later presented to the whole class (by individual students)
