About SALLE (Self-Access Language Learning E-portals)

Thanks to a LIFT grant secured in 2016, the Self-Access Language Learning E-portals (SALLE) were developed initially as a replacement for the outdated Flash-based German e-Daf courseware, with a newer programming language. Today it has been expanded to accommodate all other language programs at the Centre for Language Studies: Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Tamil, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese. It offers a wide range of language courses in these 13 languages, spanning all levels from elementary to advanced.
